Walter Voyles is a Visually Impaired Elderly Desert Veteran homeowner - Renovations & Home Repairs made to Bathroom #2  Repaired damaged bathtub and installed handicap accessible shower; repaired water damaged bathroom floor -plywood and vinyl flooring, Bedroom #1 replaced broken window, painted walls & installed carpet. Applied Henry's Thermal roof coating 2,400 sq. ft. Weatherized 10 Windows; Back porch repaired landing, replaced kitchen sink, installed faucets and handheld spray. Painted exterior trim, house, patio and garage, installed sunscreen in patio & windows. Cleaned & hauled away trash.  Replaced & installed curtains, towels, drapes, pillows & bedding sets. Product Service Cost $10,445  Volunteer Hours:   225

Aquarius Casino Resort Laughlin, Nevada partnered with Green Cactus Project to help a Korean War veteran in need. Thanks to product & grant donations from Lowe’s, Bed, Bath & Beyond, Wells Fargo Housing Foundation and Ace Hardware Tri-State Building Materials - Team Aquarius had the necessary supplies for the following:
 
HOME REPAIRS: Paint the home’s exterior, apply roof thermal coating to weatherize home, repair bathroom ceilings, replace broken faucets, replace living room flooring with plywood & install new carpet.  Nine Aquarius team members dedicated their time off for a total of 7 days to make the home repairs & improve the living conditions of a disabled rural veteran.  Fred Poppin’s two-bedroom mobile home is shared with his daughter and three grandchildren. Total Product Cost: $11,350.
