Team Aquarius Volunteers in Tri State Region

       AMERICAN SOUTHWEST RURAL DESERT COMMUNITIES:

Cactus, Sand, Wind and Summers of 120 degrees are part of daily lives of rural desert
families.

Mobile homes are scattered in the vast desert landscape of Mohave County, Arizona and Southern

Nevada.  Majority of the mobile homeowners are the rural poor seniors, disabled, veterans, and

families with children.  Green Cactus Project combines grant funding and skilled volunteers to

provide low cost home repair and modification services for rural homeowners. Aquarius Team

Volunteers of Resort Hotel Laughlin Nevada have donated their services to help 18 low income

families and veterans in the Tri State region.  With their generous and dedicated service, these

at risk families now have upgrades to their homes that provide safe and healthy living.
